New article in Scientific American Mind
My story on How Video Games Change the Brain is out now in the Jan/Feb issue of Scientific American Mind. You can read part of it here.
Lydia is now working on a book that is part memoir and part science. Recounting her
deaf son’s journey to acquire language, it weaves together tales from the centuries-long
quest to build the cochlear implant and the new science of neuro-education. Ultimately,
the book explores all that is known about the exquisite relationship between sound and
the brain.
